Global Dialogue on Caring for Our Common Home: Upcoming Online Creation Conference

The Research Institute for the Integrity of Creation at Pázmány Péter Catholic University (Hungary) is hosting an international online conference titled “CREATION – Methods and Approaches to Caring for Our Common Home.”

Taking place on September 21 and September 29, 2026, the two-day event responds directly to Pope Francis’s call in Laudato Si’ to enter into meaningful dialogue about the protection of our planet. The conference is chaired and chief-organized by Lóránd Újházi, Head of the Research Institute for the Integrity of Creation, and Gusztáv Kovács, vice-president of INSeCT.

Highlighting the event’s academic prestige, the distinguished roster of international keynote speakers also features former INSeCT president Ruben Mendoza and ESCT presidents, including Prof. Dr. Margit Eckholt and Prof. Dr. Martin Lintner. Bringing together scholars and experts from 12 countries across four continents, the conference fosters interdisciplinary synergy to turn theoretical ecological discourse into transformative action.
